Why grinding several at once costs less each
A big part of any stump job is just getting the machine to your property and set up. With one stump, you pay that mobilization on a single grind. With eight, the same trip covers them all, so we pass the savings back as bulk pricing, usually 10 to 30 percent off the per-stump rate once you are past a few.
We see it most on fence-line rows, properties that just had several trees taken down, and lots cleared for a build or a new landscape across Westfield and Fishers. Tell us roughly how many and their sizes and we will price the batch, and for high counts we quote a day-rate that almost always beats per-stump.
How a multi-stump grind goes
- Count & measureWe count the stumps and rough their diameters, the two things that set the price.
- Call 811One Indiana 811 utility locate covers the whole property before we start.
- Grind the batchWe work stump to stump in one mobilization, sized to the biggest one in the group.
- Level & cleanWe backfill or haul the grindings across the whole job and leave the ground even and ready.
